Governor Adams Oshiomhole presented N1 million cheque each to Jesus Aisosa Oliha and Paris Eniye Oliha, children of the late former footballer, Mr Thompson Oliha, when they were led to visit the Governor by widows of the late footballer, Mrs Ajarat Oliha and Mrs Iris Oliha, at the Governor’s House in Benin City on Friday 18th October 2013.

Late Mr Thompson Oliha was a former Super Eagles midfielder and was one of the coaches at the Kwara State football academy before he died Sunday June 30th, 2013. He played for Bendel Insurance (1985-1987), Iwuanyanwu Nationale (1988-1991), Africa Sports (1992-1993), Maccabi Ironi Ashdod F.C. (1993-1994) and Antalyaspor (1994-1995).
