ARTPOP has toppled Eminem and The Marshall Mathers LP 2 from the number 1 spot. The LP is now Gaga’s third UK chart topper.
Meanwhile Do What U Want, a duet with R Kelly from the record, has debuted at number 9.
The singer recently hosted Saturday Night Live and performed the aforementioned track with Kelly, and Gypsy.

Little Mix’s sophomore album Salute is at 4, and the king of rock and roll Elvis Presley is at 5 with The Nation’s Favourite Elvis Songs.
On the singles chart, despite unveiling her new single Hard Out Here, Lily Allen’s version of Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know has been pipped to the post by 17-year-old Martin Garrix.
His single Animals is the biggest-selling record of the week, and Garrix is the second-youngest artist to score a number 1 this year. The youngest is 16-year-old Lorde with Royals.
