Beachgoers in southern Saudi province inform authorities

Strollers at a famous Saudi beach stumbled across a massive dead whale and informed authorities about the creature, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The whale is over 10 metres long and was lying dead on the sand at the five-km beach in the southern Saudi province of Jazan, Sabq said.

“Those who found the whale informed authorities…it was the latest in a series of incidents involving dead whales found at that beach,” it said.
