Saudi doctors used electric shocks and injections to bring a 30-year-old patient back to life after his heart stopped six times for nearly six minutes.
Doctors said Khaled Sahloul was brought to hospital in the western Saudi town of Makkah suffering from heart cardiac arrest before his heart stopped.
“We revived his heart but it stopped again…he was half dead and his heart stopped six times for up to six minutes but we managed to save him,” Dr Atef Abdul Ghaffar, a heart specialist at King Abdullah Medical City said, quoted by the Arabic language daily Okaz.
