hree months since his split from former WWE star Stacy Keibler, actor George Clooney’s newest love interest has officially been revealed.
The actor has been spotted dining with a mystery brunette identified as British lawyer Amal Alamuddin.
Surprisingly George Clooney took Amal Alamuddin as his date to meet US President Barack Obama although her name was not on the guest list.
The 'Monuments Men' star, who brushed off rumours he was romancing the British human rights lawyer in October, brought the brunette beauty, who represents WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and his parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, to a private screening of the film at the White House in Washington D.C. last week.
An insider told the MailOnline website that Amal was George's guest and they were the talk of the event, as they seen cozying up to each other when they arrived.
The duo also enjoyed drinks with the 52-year-old actor's co-stars Bill Murray, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana at the Round Robin and Scotch Bar at the Willard Hotel in the city afterwards, and an eyewitness said: "They looked very much together, George had his arm around her and she appeared to be a girlfriend.
"They were in a small group of about 10 people, it's really a small venue and there were maybe only about 30 people in the bar, and they were sitting at a table off to the side."
Amal and George were photographed having dinner in London in October but a friend close to Oscar-winning actor, claimed at the time that he was just working with Amal on a surveillance satellite program over Syria.
Clooney’s rumored lady has impressive education credentials. Starting her collegiate studies in the United Kingdom, Alamuddin obtained her B.A./LLB from St. Hugh’s College at Oxford University.
The lady then went on to study in the U.S. at New York University School of Law (LLM), also receiving the Jack K. Katz Memorial award for her accomplishment in the field of law upon completion.
Alamuddin is currently a member of the Oxford University Arab Cultural Society group and the NYU Law Alumni in London page.
Miss Alamuddin, who works from London's Doughty Street Chambers, specialises in international law, human rights, extradition and criminal law. She speaks three languages - French, Arabic and English - and was voted No. 1 on London's Hottest Barrister list of 2013.
She has been appointed to a number of UN commissions including as adviser to Special Envoy Kofi Annan on Syria and her high profile human rights cases have included representing former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
