'Seductive' mum helps son steal laptop

But mum then forgets daughter in shop

An Arab woman went into a computer shop in Saudi Arabia with her three children and plans to steal an expensive item.

The plan, involving seduction of workers, did work in the beginning before the woman made a serious mistake.

As she started to talk “seductively” to the two workers in the shop in the western Saudi town of Taif, her 10-year-old snatched a laptop and sneaked out to a waiting car.

The woman and her 12-year-old daughter then followed the boy, got into the car and disappeared into the busy streets of the city.

“But she forgot her eight-year-old daughter in the shop. We asked the child about her address  and phoned the police so they will take the girl home,” Ahmed Al Faleh¸ a worker, told the Saudi website ‘Mzmz’.

“We later discovered a laptop had gone missing and only then realised why the woman was trying to seduce us. Police took the little girl home and recovered the laptop.”

The report said the woman was arrested and her son was sent to a correction centre.
