Saudi captures 'animal' in desert

 

Dog-like creature draws much interest

A Saudi man captured a dog-like strange animal in the desert and said no one could identify the creature, according to a Saudi newspaper.

Mutammam Al Rabei told Sabq newspaper he was on a desert safari in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah when he saw the animal running in front of his car.

“I managed to catch it alive. It has a head similar to a dog’s, but the animal is small and scary,” he said. “I asked many people in the area but no one could identify this animal. It is strange and the first time I have seen such a creature.”
