Longest fasting period this Ramadan: 15 hours and five minutes


Average temperature at 45°C

Well the holy month is fast approaching, According to Emirate news Fasting this Ramadan will be the longest compared to the past several years,
Also, average temperatures will hover around 45 degree Celsius in the UAE and the Gulf.

During the first 10 days of the holy month (June 18-27), fasting time will stretch 15 hours and five minutes, with temperature at around 43°C.

The following 10 days (June 28- July 7) will see fasting time reduced to 15 hours. But temperature will rise to 45°C frequented by dust storms.

The fasting time will further decrease to 14 hours and 55 minutes during the last 10 days of the holy month (July 8-16). However, temperatures will be around 46°C accompanied with high humidity in coastal areas.
