The day has finally come for Smith to undergo vocal surgery and in an effort to keep fans in the loop, and ease his nerves, the Grammy winner has been posting a series of Instagrams from his hospital bed.
The “Stay With Me” crooner shared one photo of himself—which he aptly dubbed a “hospital selfie”—looking ready for the procedure ahead and giving the camera a peace sign. And in a prior pic, Smith posted a snapshot of Ariel from The Little Mermaid and wrote, “About to have operation. This is me today…”
UPDATE: Sam Smith is out of surgery! The award-winning singer posted the following tweet just moments ago: “Just woken up from op. I’m high on pain killers and listening to Whitney Houston hahahahaha.”
