Slian Rapper Chinx laid to rest

'Violence has hit home': One mourner was Pickens' cousin Norman Seabrook, who also happens to head up the Correction Officers' union  
Rapper  Chinx whos real name is Lionel Pickens was laid to rest today , the funral service held at the Greater Allen Cathedral in Queens,New York , friends and family were present to bid their final farewells to the 31 year old rapper who was shot dead May 19 2015.

 Killed in drive-by shooting: Outside the cathedral, a group of NYPD officers were on hand to ensure something similar didn't happen to any mourners

Still searching: Thus far, police have named no motive and have no suspect in the shooting, which also left Pickens' passenger injured
 Chinx, who grew up in Far Rockaway, released his first solo album 'Hurry Up & Die Vol 1: Get Ya Casket On' in 2009 and has collaborated with French Montana in the past
Both Chinx and his passenger were taken to Jamaica Hospital where the rapper later died
