So Sad! Chinx Drugs Wife Says “My Son Is Asking For His Dad” [Pics] — Over the weekend, rapper Lionel “Chinx” Pickens,31, was tragically murdered after a performance in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, the New York Times reports. Pickens and his passenger were sitting at a red light on Queens Boulevard when another vehicle pulled up beside them and without warning, opened fire on Pickens’ Porsche.
Pickens was struck at least eight times before he was able to pull his car over in front of a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts. Pickens was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he died. His passenger, Antar Alziadi, 27, is in stable condition with two bullet wounds to the back and a punctured lung. So far, no arrests have been made. 




 Pickens was a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys and some outlets have reported that he is romantically linked to Malika Haqq, the best friend of Khloe Kardashian. Pickens’ partner, Janelli Caceres, however, has since come forward to refute those claims. “He wasn’t no fckn [Malika’s] boyfriend he was my husband of 13yrs!!! They need to take this sh-t down,” she wrote of one report on Facebook.
There has even been a Change.org petition urging media outlets to cease referring to the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star as Pickens’ girlfriend. Haqq has been the target of much criticism since acknowledging Pickens’ passing with a semi-romantic social media post, but she has not chosen to speak out on the nature of her relationship with the slain rapper.
