U2 Tour Manager Found Dead In LA Hotel Room



Dennis Sheehan, the longtime tour manager of U'2 , died Wednesday in Los Angeles. Sheenan was found unconscious in his hotel room at the Sunset Marquis Hotel just hours after the band kicked off its five-night concert residency at the Forum in Los Angeles. The cause of death was cardiac arrest.

The news was first reported by TMZ.
Bono said in a statement, “We’ve lost a family member, we’re still taking it in. He wasn’t just a legend in the music business, he was a legend in our band. He is irreplaceable.”
Sheehan was U2’s tour manager for 30 years. Additionally, he worked for acts including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, and Patti Smith.
