A$AP Rocky stopped by Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio 1 for an interview before he released At.Long.Last.A$AP.
Rocky discussed working on A$AP Yams’ posthumous album. He has previously revealed he is determined the complete the body of work he conceived before losing his life to drugs. “He left his notebooks, he left his blueprint. His album’s f***ing incredible. I want to finish what he started,” he told Billboard earlier this month.

Around the 16:00 mark, Rakim spoke on his pimped mouth and shared that in addition to his grills, he has diamonds implanted in his teeth.

"I got stones implanted in my teeth, so it’s permanent. All [the diamonds in the] back are permanent. Teeth in the front I take out, but in the back are permanent. You can’t see them, so it’s cool. It’s thing for me, I do weird stuff like that,” he told Charlie.

Rocky then explained that the only other rapper with unremovable diamonds in his mouth he knows is Diddy.

The Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, has expressed mixed feelings and concerns over the inaugural address of President Muhammadu Buhari in relation to the Niger Delta region. According to a statement issued by Eric Omare, the spokesman of IYC, and made available to journalists in Yenagoa on Sunday, there is need to review the terminal date of the Amnesty Programme to accommodate those who are yet to complete the scheme.

A middle-aged man is currently being detained by operatives of Edo State Police Command for allegedly siphoning diesel from a truck belonging to a beverage company located at Ikpoba Hill, in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of the State.

It was gathered that the suspect was ‎caught at about 4:00 am on 27 May by a vigilant night guard in the area, who noticed a flow of diesel on the ground close to where the truck was parked. He allegedly traced the flow to the truck where he found the suspect channelling the petroleum product into waiting jerry cans.

Don Thomas is a longtime regular at the Hooters in Roswell.
He never would have imagined that in addition to serving him his hot wings & beer, waitress Mariana Villarreal would later save his life. Mariana gave Don her kidney.

“Mariana had only been here a short time,” Thomas said. “I just barely knew her when she made the offer.”

The offer was the gift of life. Thomas lost both his kidneys.

“I said, ‘Well I have two kidneys, do you want one of mine?'” said Mariana Villarreal, a waitress at Hooters.

“My reply was, ‘I will accept it,'” Don said.

Mariana doesn’t know Don outside of work. But she feels a higher calling.

Her grandmother recently passed away from kidney failure.

“I wasn’t able to do anything for my grandma,” Mariana said, “If [Don] can live two more years, happy as he’s ever been, that’s fine with me. That’s not up to me. I did my part, now it’s God’s turn to keep him alive.”

Family members of the late B.B. King have come together at his funeral service held on Saturday at Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Indianola, Mississippi, a town he considered his home.

The musician, who influenced generations of singers and guitarists, died aged 89 on May 14 at his residence in Las Vegas.

Beau Biden, the son of Vice President Joe Biden, has died of brain cancer. He was 46.

U2 Tour Manager Found Dead In LA Hotel Room

Dennis Sheehan, the longtime tour manager of U'2 , died Wednesday in Los Angeles. Sheenan was found unconscious in his hotel room at the Sunset Marquis Hotel just hours after the band kicked off its five-night concert residency at the Forum in Los Angeles. The cause of death was cardiac arrest.

The news was first reported by TMZ.
Bono said in a statement, “We’ve lost a family member, we’re still taking it in. He wasn’t just a legend in the music business, he was a legend in our band. He is irreplaceable.”
Sheehan was U2’s tour manager for 30 years. Additionally, he worked for acts including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, and Patti Smith.

A suicide bomb blast outside a mosque and rocket-propelled grenades that exploded into homes as people slept killed at least 30 people in the Nigerian city Maiduguri on Saturday, residents and officials said.

The explosion killed people who were prostrating themselves for afternoon prayers outside the mosque, including traders from the nearby crowded marketplace in the largest city in Nigeria’s troubled northeast, survivors said.
Trader Ali Bakomi said the bomber was pushing a wheelbarrow and pretending to be an itinerant trader when he joined them.

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have declared their assets in line with provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by Buhari’s Head of Media Team, Garba Shehu.
The forms, the statement said, were submitted separately on May 28 and signed for by the organisation’s Chairman, Sam Saba. It said:

Strong 7.8 Magnitude- quake strikes off Japan's southern coast

A magnitude-7.8 earthquake struck off the southern coast of Japan on Saturday, shaking buildings in Tokyo and interrupting subway service, but causing no major damage or injuries.
The epicenter was located 540 miles south of Tokyo in the Ogasawara Islands,according to the U.S .Geological Survey , which initially reported the quake as a magnitude-8.5.
The Japan Meteorological Agency reports that no tsunami warnings were issued.

The strong quake rattled buildings in the capital for about a minute, briefly shutting down subways, Japan Today reports.
NHK reports that train service between Tokyo and Osaka was halted due to a power outage.
Naoki Hirata, an earthquake expert at the University of Tokyo's Earthquake Research Centre, told NHK that while it was a "very big quake" and "shaking was felt over a broad areas," there was little danger of a tsunami because it it was centered 350 miles below the surface.

Two friends trying to stop a suicide bomber in Saudi got killed in the process

Eyewitnesses claim the man was disguised as a woman and tried to enter through a closed female entrance before going to the main gate, where the pair were manning a civilian checkpoint.
