James Franco and Seth Rogen spoof Kim Kardashian VOGUE cover

Anna Wintour may feel justified in putting Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the April cover of Vogue, but not everybody is buying it.
James Franco and Seth Rogen have spoofed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Vogue cover.
The actors poked fun of the US magazine's controversial new cover, which was unveiled on MArch 20 to mass uproar from the fashion world, by photoshopping their heads onto the couple's body in a mock-up version of the April issue's defining image.
The fashion bible's cover - which was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz - shows reality star Kim looking demure in a strapless Lanvin wedding gown as Kanye wraps his arms around his bride-to-be, the concept a nod to their upcoming nuptials in Paris this May.

James posted his digitally-altered handiwork on Instagram, jokingly adding: "Seth! Love you, dog!"
His fans' response was overwhelmingly positive, with one enthusing, "Omg what a beautiful couple!!!", and another noting, "A much better cover photo".
VOGUE Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour - who previously declared Kim would appear in the magazine "over her dead body" - has defended her cover star choice in the Editor's letter of April's Shape issue, explaining that she admires Kim's "strength of character."
She added that the magazines prides itself on "being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it."

THE BACKLASH:
While just a day earlier Kim was on cloud nine after finally landing her much-sought-after US Vogue cover, but she didn't appear to be in the best of spirits as she arrived for singer Ciara's baby shower.
And who can blame her, with the Twittersphere going into a frenzy upon hearing the news, with people spouting mostly nasty comments.
The Muppets have also joined in on the act, with puppet power couple Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy recreating Kimye's VOGUE cover.
Sharing the image on Facebook, Miss Piggy said: "Kermie and Moi are honored to be featured on the cover of Vague as the #UniversesMostTalkedAboutCouple!! (Are you surprised, though?)"
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar slammed the publication for putting the reality TV star and her fiancé on the April cover of the prestigious fashion bible, urging others to boycott it with her.
The 36-year-old actress blasted editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's controversial decision, writing: 'Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???'
Stars and the general public alike questioned whether the celebrity couple are relevant to the readership.
Influential blogger Bryanboy wrote: 'Twenty four years of loyalty to American Vogue and then this.'
Outspoken entertainment journalist Nikki Finke also chimed in on the cover, writing: 'I'm loving the big backlash aimed at Anna Wintour for putting Kim Kardashian on Vogue cover. Issue should come with barf bag.'
Buzzfeed's Matt Bellassai promised to buy the issue — but not for the reason Wintour might have hoped.
Fashion blogger Liam Calderone was matter-of-fact: KIM KARDASHIAN and VOGUE shouldn't be put in the same sentence. End of.
Blogger @TheFashionLaw questioned her editorial judgment and wondered if the Kardashian cover carries bigger implications. Translation: The fashion bible's cover is no longer reserved for A-listers.
